Môže sa v nej nadchýnať veľkolepou výpravou a kostýmami, oceniť že bol ponechaný pôvodný veršovaný text a potešia ho herecké výkony dvíhajúce celok na pozoruhodnú úroveň. Gérarda neznášam, ale tu som ho toleroval. Napriek tomu si viem predstaviť aspoň troch francúzskych hercov, ktorí by vtlačili postave Cyrana väčšiu vierohodnosť. Ale to je vec názoru. Ak chcem mať tolerované vlastné názory, musím tolerovať názory ostatných. (11. 1. 2015) fantassia Film jsem viděla dabovaný, což je samo o sobě špatně, ale vzhledem k tomu, že Depardieu vypadá jak pivní sud a nikoliv milovník, nemělo to patřičnou šťávu. Nevěřím mu, že by šel bojovat proti stu chlapů s nadšením, ale spíš vypadal, že by si chtěl sednout k nějakému žvanci. Kdysi jsem to viděla jako divadlo v Praze, tuším na Smíchově a musím říct, že to mělo daleko větší šťávu, ještě, že si Depardieu zažádal o občanství v Rusku, aby mu nikdo nedanil miliony a mohl se do sytosti nacpávat, hrát milovníky by už ale opravdu neměl, je to hnus. Cyrano z Begeracu, klasický kus, který i na našich jevištích s oblibou stále nastudovávají různé divadelní spolky. Tahle hra patří mezi ty divadelní hry, které se řadí mezi velké. Pro film není většina divadelních her psána a je to vždy znát. Nicméně hlavní je charakteristika postav, jejich projevy, proto také v každé generaci se najdou diváci, které tyhle klasické kusy zaujmou. A zajímavé na nich je právě to, že jsou o člověku a mezilidských vztazích na řadu způsobů. Pokud má některý z dnešních dramatiků pocit, že na trhu dramatického umění je velká mezera, tak může sednou a napsat něco lepšího. Ale to se neděje. Ale může se to stát. To se vyloučit nedá. K samotnému zpracování - zaujme to asi nejvíc toho, kdo tuhle hru nezná, ale nic revolučního to není. Nejlepší je, aspoň pro mě, vzít si nějakou divadelní hru, a přečíst si ji sám. Como ya lo habia comentado antes una de las escenas que me emociona y me conmueve es cuando Cyrano expresa el respeto y admiracion por el nombre del Quijote de la Mancha, es interesante ver como dos personajes que siendo de paises que en ese momento estaban en conflicto sin embargo no evita que Cyrano declare que se saca el sombrero ante el nombre de ese genial loco que es asi como aparece en la novela aunque en la pelicula solo dice que se ve retratado en el pero igual me gusta esa escena.
